WELCA News for June 2021

WELCA met June 1 at 10:00 with devotions led by Linda Brehmer. The treasurer’s report was distributed with a balance of $4,183.20 with the Bagged Lunch profit of $1,460 which is great. The group decided to shake up the Cookie Walk for 2021 with it now being CCC in Christ. Cookies, Candy, Crafts in Christ. A committee was formed, but it will take any others who would be interested in organizing this event. It will still take place the first Saturday in December.

There will be a picnic July 6 at Beach Park. All women of faith are welcomed and we were encouraged to reach out to other members who have not come. Lunch will be pot luck and bring your own beverage and utensils, plus a wrapped White Elephant gift. There will be a short meeting at 11:00 to disperse shut in gifts and any other business needs. Lunch will be around 11:45-1:00 so people who work could still be able to attend.

WELCA Meeting March 2, 2021

Welca is back to meeting on a monthly basis which is the first Tuesday of every month-most of the time. March 2 will be our next meeting at 10:00.

In our October meeting, we designated $2,800 to local charities and discussed having a food fundraiser out of the church during 100 mile garages sales. Discussion will continue in March, but we need some people to chair this event
